FLOYD, BERNARD L. - age 67 of Seymour departed from this life on February 24, 2003 at approximately 12 p.m. at the UT Hospital following a lengthy battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, Bernard L. Floyd, Sr. sister, Emily Ford and brother, Bill Floyd. Survivors include his loving mother, Mary Floyd wife, Shirley Floyd son and daughter in law, Richard Floyd and Charlotte Thomas daughter and son in law, Tammi McCollum and Steve Glass son, John Henry granddaughter, Amanda McCollum great grandchildren, Christopher and Haley Weeden brothers and sisters in law, Coy Floyd of Crossville, Donald and Ann Floyd, Terry Floyd, Roger and Tammy Floyd and Dewey Floyd sisters, Vivarene Lett and Jean Godsey several nieces and nephews. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 and also from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 27, 2003 at Highland South Funeral Home.
