BERRY, LEROY - age 65 of 397 Farris Circle, LaFollette, passed away Friday, October 10, 2003 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Campbell Co. He was a member of Speedwell Academy Baptist Church, Mr. Berry loved fishing, hunting, football, bowling, drag racing, having received several trophies. Preceded in death by sons, Brandon Murphy, Timothy Berry parents, Cecil and Georgia Stiner Berry brother, John Berry. Survived by wife, Sherrie Berry of LaFollette children and spouses, Carol and John Fortney of Canton, Ohio, Brenda and Terry Heatherly of Jacksboro, Leroy, Jr. and Connie Berry of LaFollette, Lisa and Alvy Thomas of Canton, Ohio, Dawn and Kevin Sharp of Jacksboro, Tim Berry and Leanne Berry both of LaFollette grandchildren, Sarah and Travis Umstead, Connor Heatherly, Tim Berry, Tara Farcus, Chris McDaniel and Alvy Thomas, III great grandchildren, Mackenzie Host and Gavin Morris sisters, Edna Bull, Murriell Turner, Faye Bean and Lucille Childs several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday October 12 at Speedwell Academy Baptist Church with Rev. Dwane Byrd and Rev. David Goins officiating. Interment will follow in Bakers Forge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night from 6-8 p.m. in Martin Wilson Chapel. Martin Wilson Funeral Home of LaFollette in charge of arrangements.
