BULL, Glen C. 86, of Springfield passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006. He was born January 22, 1920 in Tazewell, Tennessee, the son of George W. "Joe" and Birdie (Ramsey) Bull. Glen served in the United States Army, Fourth Infantry, A Company during World War II in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Central Europe and Ardennes Battles and Campaigns. He received EAME Theater Ribbon with five Bronze Stars and American Defense Service Medal. Mr. Bull retired after 36 years of service from Ohio Edison as a Fireman Engineer at the Rockway Plant. He was a member of Knights of Pythias, Ingomar 610 where he served as Trustee for many years. Glen was a member of the Maiden Lane Church of God. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Irene (Johnson) Bull of Springfield; daughter and son-in-law, Linda Sue and Kevin J. Rosicka of Springfield; seven brothers and three sisters-in-law, Lillion Bull of LaFollette, Tennessee, Roy Bull of Douglas Lake, Tennessee, Everett Bull, JC and Cleo Bull, Fred and Clara Bull and Carl and Jewell Bull all of Tazewell, Tennessee; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ada Dykes of Seymour, Tennessee, Myrtle and Loy Presnell and Mary Ellen and JC Greer all of Tazewell, TN; numerous nieces and nephews; and many church friends plus the Energizers and his bungee buddy, Randy Spence. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Virch Bull; and one sister, Allene Bull. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 3, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME with Knights of Pythias services starting at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with an hour prior visitation in the funeral home with Pastor Dan Fiorini officiating.
