Dorothy Irwin Trotter, age 95, of Knoxville, formerly of Sevierville, passed away Wednesday evening, November 6, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center.
Dorothy was an active member of Concord United Methodist Church and the Special Studies Sunday School Class and the Rebecca Circle.
She was devoted to her family and church and also owned a seasonal tax business in Sevierville.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh "Skip" Trotter and three siblings.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Neal and Sharon Trotter and Larry and Lynn Trotter; grandchildren, Jessica Wallace (Robbie), Tamara Gilbert (Aaron), Lauren Dunn (Brian) and Christie Olumstad (Dale); great-grandchildren, Katie, Eric and Emery Wallace and Ambrose Dunn; sister, Eleanor Neratko of Orlando, FL; brother, Gordon Irwin of Seymour; many nieces, nephews and special friends.
The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2013 at Concord United Methodist Church with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11 a.m.
Family and friends will gather later on Saturday, at 3 p.m. for Graveside Services at Middle Creek Cemetery in Sevierville.
