DUNLAP, DANNY - age 26, of Walland, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday, April 18, 1997, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Oak View Baptist Church. He served in the First Calvary in the United States Army during Desert Storm. He was a graduate from Heritage High School and was employed by Modine Manufacturing. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde and Bessie Dunlap and grandmother, Lorena McCroy. Survivors include parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Dunlap of Seymour and Marlene Jones of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, John Travis and Beth Dunlap of Miami, Florida; brother, Dempsey Walker of Walland; sisters, Amanda Dunlap and Sherrie Dunlap, both of Seymour; grandfather, Fate McCroy; grandparents, Lib and Stanley Owenby and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral service 3 p.m. Sunday in the West Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Glenn Gamble officiating. Interment will be at Oak View Baptist Church Cemetery.
