(Aunt Lila) McLean, 85, who lived in Cowiche for much of her life, died Monday in Kittitas. Mrs. McLean was born in Granger. She worked in the fruit-packing industry for many years and was employed by Strand Apples Inc. and Cubberly's fruit warehouses. She also was a florist, working independently and in the floral departments at May Nursery, Evans Nursery and the Sarge Hubbard's store. Survivors include a sister, Dot Wies of Yakima. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Keith and Keith Funeral Home in Yakima. Concluding service will be at West Hills Memorial Park. A celebration of life will follow the service at the Yakima VFW Hall, 118 S. Fifth Ave. [S1] U. S. Social Security Death Index.
