Charles Dexter Houk age 70 of Maryville passed away Saturday, December 4, 2010 at his home with the his family by his side. He was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church and a veteran of the US Army serving from 1959-1964. He was the owner of Charles Houk Heating & Air. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson Lafayette & Alberta Augusta Houk; brother, Harold A. Houk; sister, Dorothy Houk; sister & brother-in-law, Ruby & James W. Sullivan; sister-in-law, Virginia Houk. Survivors include his wife, Delia Dunlap Houk; son & daughter-in-law, Charles David & Angela Houk; daughters & sons-in-law, Regina & Jeff Crisp, Julie & Chad Simpson all of Maryville; grandchildren, Michael & Jan Houk, Samantha Houk, Alexis Houk, Ashlee Houk, Grayson Simpson, Gage Crisp, Shannon Houk & Shane Houk; great-grandchildren, Hunter McPherson & Alexandria Houk; brothers, Fred Houk, James Houk, Grady Houk & wife, Dean; sisters, Faye Lane, Doris Jett & husband, Earl, Betty Lovengood & husband, David. Funeral service 7:00 pm Monday, December 6, 2010, Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. John Sharp.
