HARVEY, JIMMY C. - age 64 of Chattanooga, formerly of Oliver Springs, passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He worked for Union Carbide and was a member, of the Plumber and Pipefitters Local Union #43 in Tucker, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude S. and Georgia Capps Harvey; son, Jimmy C. Harvey, Jr.; sister, Wilma Shultz; brother, Bill Harvey; brother-in-law, Jim Hood. He is survived by daughters; Andrea Harvey Gouge and husband, Michael, Leslie Meade Muldrown, and Paula Cox, all of Oliver Springs; brother, C.S. "Sonny" Harvey, Jr. and wife, Maxine, of Oliver Springs; sisters, Patsy Harvey Begley, of Oliver Springs and Barbara Hood, of Crossville; sister-in-law, Betty Harvey, of Harriman; Brother-in-law, Bob Shultz, of Wartburg; several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews; Two special friends, Jim Luffman and David Shillings. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Mt. Pisgah Church in the old sanctuary from 5:00-6:30 pm. The funeral service will begin at 6:30 with Bro. Garvan Walls officiating.
