She was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and friend. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jesse and Hettie Douglas, Chauncey and Lola Depew; her brother, Jack Depew, Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Annetta Depew. Survivors include her children, David Speaks and Angela Speaks; parents, Jack Depew, Sr. and Ann Depew; sisters, Karen Whicker and husband Roger Whicker, Cheryl Tilley and husband Arthur Tilley; her partner, Ben Bentley; nieces, Sabrina Copas and husband Robbie Copas and their family, Crystal Van Avery; nephews, Adam Depew and wife Liz Depew and their family, Josh Knisley and family. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 18, 2008, at Kodak United Methodist Church, 2923 Bryan Road, Kodak, TN, at 2:00pm, with Reverend Rowland S. Buck officiating.
