He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and a member of Dr. Carroll Reagan’s Sunday School class. Retired from Southern Auger Coal and Stowers Machinery. J.E. was an avid speed boater and loved his family and grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, Earnest and Mabel Wilson. He was a loving husband, dad, grandfather and brother. Survivors Survivors include wife of 52 years, Mary Ruth Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Sammy Cox; daughter, Susan Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Alycen Wilson; grandchildren, Meghan Cox and fiancé, Josh Cook, Morgan Cox, Jacob and Meredith Wilson; sister, June Hubbs; sister-in-law, Glenda Williams and husband, Jerry; special nieces and nephews. Special thank you to Dr. A. Robert Blacky for your love and support. Service The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2009 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, Chapman Highway, with funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM with Dr. Hollie Miller, Rev. Don Wilson and Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Memorial Gardens on Friday, May 29, 2009 for a 1:00 PM graveside service.
