He was preceded in death by his parents, Cicero and Elsie Grubb Dockery; and brother, Earl Dockery. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Webb Dockery of Newport; sons and daughters-in-law, Chris and Anna Dockery of Bristol, TN, Cliff and Jennifer Dockery of Chattanooga, TN, Tim and Margie Dockery of Newport, TN; daughter, Angie Dockery of Tampa, Florida; brother and sister-in-law, Herbert and Betty Dockery; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Geraldine and Jim McSween of Newport; Sandra and Buck Hensley of Newport, Kathy Maes of Ozark, Alabama; brother-in-law, Billy and Wilma Webb; seven grandchildren, Rusty, Hunter, Dylan, Tyler and Tobey Dockery, Shannon and Ashley Sturgill; great-grandchildren, Kody Dockery, Makenzie and Maximus Dickens; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Thursday, May 29, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tom Mooty and Rev. Scott Gorrell officiating. Burial will be 11:00 am Friday, May 30, 2008 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the funeral services.
