ELDRIDGE, LANA GRAVES - age 65, Rockwood, TN, lost her courageous battle with breast cancer on January 15, 2007. Lana grew up in Knoxville and moved to Rockwood in the mid 80's. She was a longtime employee of the TVA Employees Credit Union and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Rockwood. Her greatest pleasures were derived from her grandchildren, volunteering, square dancing, gardening, RVing, and entertaining friends and family. The family wants to publicly thank Lana's extended family for their devoted and unwavering support during Lana's illness. Mrs. Eldridge is preceded in death by her parents, C.E. and Mildred Graves. Survivors include: husband of 45 years, Gerald Reagan Eldridge; daughter & son-in-law, Jennifer & Jack Raby; son & daughter-in-law, Gerald, Jr. & Michelle Eldridge; grandchildren, Kirsten and Garett Raby, Gerald Reagan Eldridge III; brother, David Graves. The family will receive friends at First Presbyterian Church of Rockwood on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. This will be followed by a celebration of Lana's life from 8-9 p.m. Mrs. Eldridge requested that in lieu of flowers, memorials be sent to: the American Cancer Society, 871 Weisgarber Road, Knoxville, TN 37909. Evans Mortuary is serving the family of Lana Graves Eldridge.
