U.S. Veteran Charles Wilson Moore, age 75 of Louisville, passed away suddenly at his home Thursday November 27, 2008. He was a coach of both local youth football and baseball during the 70’s and 80’s. He was a graduate of Fulton High School. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, and a US Air Force veteran during Korea. Preceded in death by his parents, Charles Carl Moore and Ada Thelma Moore. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Patsy Ann Moore; son, Charles Michael Moore of Louisville and fiancé, Kathleen Collins; daughter, Sandra Diane Martin and husband Danny of Albemarle, NC; son Russell Scott Moore and wife Tamitha of Louisville; grandson, Jean Luc Moore; granddaughters, Alexandra Diona Moore and Tiffany Nicole McCoy; brother, Donald Jack Moore and wife Barbara Faye of Knoxville; sister, Carol Nadine Daniels of Knoxville; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday at Miller Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 8:00 PM Monday December 1, 2008 at Miller Funeral Home, Cedar Chapel, Rev. Calvin Braden officiating. Interment service will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. www.millerfuneralhome.org
