Mrs. Verddie Renner, age 82, of Parrottsville, passed away at her home on Monday, September 3, 2001.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.E. (Easterly) Renner; grandson, Willard Boyd Campbell; brothers, John, Howard, Jake, Woodrow, McAfee, Monroe, and Luther Renner; sisters, Dorothy Huff, Linda Vance, Lillie Gillen, Anna Belle Norton, and Lula Lee Pack.
She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Walter (Carolyn) Renner, of Greene County; J.F. (Aileen) Renner, of Parrottsville; daughters and sons-in-law, Ida (L.V.) Sane, Magdalene (Athan) Sane, all of Parrottsville; Rethel Mae (A.J.) Campbell, of Newport.
Thirteen grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. Sister and brother-in-law, Arie (Vick) Keller, of Parrottsville.
Additional survivors include one brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at the Costner-Maloy Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Floyd and Jeff Harvel officiating.
Family and friends will meet at 10:15 a.m., Thursday morning, September 6, 2001 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home to go in procession to Resthaven Memorial Gardens for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, September 5, 2001 at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home prior to the service.
