Gary Lee Kroll, 66, of Vonore, formerly of Mt. Vernon, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at Park Ridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN. Born September 7, 1944, he was a native of IL and was a son of the late William August Kroll and Darlene Kroll Decker. He served in the U.S. Air Force, was the President of Three Degrees Masonic Motorcycle Club and was a member and master of the Brown Hill Masonic Lodge # 613 of Tellico Plains, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, listed above; first wife, Mary Ann Kroll; one daughter, Lori Ann Carroll and two sisters.
Survivors include wife, Ellen L. Cook Kroll of Vonore, TN; four sons and daughters-in-law, Todd Kroll of WI, Jeff Jones of Greenback, TN, Mark and Vicki Maples of Paris, MI, David and BeckyJones of Madisonville, TN and Jamie Loveday of Sweetwater, TN; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Tony Woods of Madisonville, TN; eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and special friend and lodge brother, Jimmy and Teresa Cranfield.
Masonic Masonic service will be held 8 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 in the South Chapel of Bordwine Funeral Home with the funeral to follow. Rev. Don A. Fain and lodge brother Jimmy Cranfield will officiate. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m., prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at Crossroads Tabernacle Cemetery in Greenback, TN, Saturday, April 16, 2011 for the 11 a.m., committal service. Bill Green, Joe Carver, Waylon McKinney, Freebird and Jimmy Cranfield will serve as pallbearers.
Bordwine Funeral Home of Etowah is in charge of arrangements.
