Margaret Leona Ledford, age 82, of Newport, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 23, 2006 at Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church for 62 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn Ledford; parents, Rev. Hubert & Edna Inman; her great grandchild, Corbin Archer.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Viola & Kenny Lewis of Newport; son and daughter-in-law, James and Linda Ledford of Talbott; daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Henry Collier of White Pine, Tammi and Steve Mitchell of Bluefield, West Virginia. She also had eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by seven brothers and sisters, Louise Reed of Newport, Clarence Inman of Newport, Wendell Inman of Morristown, Cecil Inman of Munroe Falls, Ohio, Drew Inman of Marion, North Carolina, Nathan Inman of Newport, and Gladys Gregg of Newport.
The family will receive friends from 6-9 pm Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, September 27, 2006 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ben Whitted and Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating. Burial will be in Ray’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all the staff at, Newport Health and Rehabilitation Center.
