She was a faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir as long as she was able. She taught many years and retired from the local school system as a substitute teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Cawley Haskell Keller; parents, Claude and Cartie Vinson; brother, Wayne Vinson; Sister, Sarah McGaha; son, Lloyd Keller; grandsons, Patrick Alley and Marty Keller. She is survived by her brother, W.C. (Edna) Vinson, Jr.; her children, daughter, Danise (Paul) Alley of Newport; son, Jerry (Ola) Keller of Dandridge; daughter-in-law, Louise Keller of Newport; granddaughter, Sara Keller; seven grandsons, Monty (Carolyn) Alley, Michael (Belinda) Alley, Justin (Wendy) Keller, Steve Keller, Tim Keller, Phillip (Darlene) Keller; twelve great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. The family would like to express their appreciation to the compassionate caregivers who afforded her the opportunity to remain in her home for the final years of her life, and to the Smoky Mountain Hospice team who provided her and the family needed support and care.
