He attended Indian Creek Church of God, and had worked for Newport paving as well as Bush Brothers, Stokely’s and Quakers. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael W. Campbell; nephew, James Arvil Campbell; grandfathers, Sam Campbell and Ben Harri;, grandmothers, Sarah Campbell and Sally Harris; also step-son, Charlie Knotts. He is survived by his father, Ervin Campbell; mother, Katherine Campbell; daughter, Tonya M. Hembree and husband, David; son, Heston H. Campbell; sisters, Robbie Gail Black, and Debora Quinn; brother, Durial L. Campbell; sister in law, Pam Campbell; grandchildren, Diane Campbell, Michael Hembree, Becky Shelton, Derrick Williams; special ones, Joseph E. McMahan, Tina C., Josh, Niki, Lorinda, Linda C., Gabriel & Daniel; also several nieces and nephews. Funeral services 11:00 am, Tuesday, September 19, 2006, in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with, Reverend Tony Richie and Reverend Brice Justice officiating. Burial will follow in Stokley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Sunday, September 17, 2006 and Monday, September 18, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made towards the funeral expenses.
