She was a member of Anderson Street Church of God where she served as a church musician. Trula retired from Fort Sanders Regional after 19 years' service in housekeeping. She loved her animals and always enjoyed sharing her faith with the people she met. Trula was preceded in death by her husband 36 years John Alvin Reed; sister & brother-in-law Velma & Jesse Helton; brother Max Dunn. Survived by daughter Darlene Dunn; son Rev James Dunn Sr. and wife Sandra; granddaughter Kimberly Jersey & husband Daniel all of Knoxville, grandson James Dunn Jr. & wife Lori of Johnson City; great grandson Tarren Jersey and several nieces and nephews. "Special Thanks to caregiver Karen Bailey". The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Friday at Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel with Funeral Service at 7:30 P.M. with Rev. Troy Baird and Rev. Glen Collins Jr. officiating. Family and friends will meet at Bookwalter Cemetery 10:45 A.M. Saturday for interment at 11:00 A.M. Arrangements by Rose Mortuary Broadway Chapel.
