Juanita Helton Vail, age 85, of Sevierville, formerly of Knoxville passed away April 27, 2014. She was a longtime member of North Lonsdale Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband Van Vail Jr.; parents, Andy and Lucy Helton; brothers, Reubel, Marshall, Jesse and Wayne. She is survived by her brother Howard Helton, Sr. and wife Louise; step-daughter, Connie York and family; and several nieces and nephews. A special thanks for the staff at Ft. Sanders Sevier Nursing Home for their excellent care. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at North Lonsdale Church of God with Pastor Frank Sellers officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. Thursday at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Washburn for interment at 1 p.m. Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
