ATCHLEY, JACK LEE - 72, of Sarasota FL, passed away Friday, December 23, 2011 at his residence. Jack was Broker/Co-Owner of Atchley International Realty. Along with being a real estate broker in Florida and Tennessee, Jack retired as an Auditor for the State of Tennessee and was a graduate from the University of Tennessee. While raising his family in Vero Beach, he owned and operated Jack's Marina on the Indian River as a Cobia/Robalo boats dealer. He enjoyed and spent a lot of time at the beach or on the water. Jack is survived by wife, Myra Atchley; son, Alan Atchley Co-Owner of Atchley International Realty; daughters, Alison Albano and April Sugamura along with nine grandchildren. He is the youngest brother of five boys all residing in Tennessee, including Senator Ben Atchley and wife Sue; Bob Atchley and wife Joyce; Ed Atchley and wife Vicki; and Blaine Atchley and wife Carol. Jack enjoyed his work, adored his family, and loved his real estate agents. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 30, 10:00 AM at Harvest United Methodist Church, 14305 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202.
