U.S. Veteran Clyde Eugene Henry, age 72 of Dandridge passed away Monday, May 19, 2008 at the Baptist Hospital of Cocke County. He was a member of the Open Door Church and was employed at Bush Brothers for 38 years. Clyde served his country honorably in the navy stationed in the USS Mac Kenzie Destroyer. He is preceded in death by his parents William B. and Lucy Henry, brothers, Bobby, William, Johnny and, James Henry; sisters, Alta Hall, Reva Hance and Elsa Hall. He is survived by his wife Zola and son Clyde Jr. Granddaughter Amy who is married to Stacy Hall, three great granddaughters Santana, Erika and, Kennedi. Brothers, F.A. Henry, Hubert and Sue Henry and, Jack and Wanda Henry. Sisters, Betty and Carson Nelson and Carolyn Deneau.
Funeral Services will be held 8 pm Wednesday, May 21, 2008 at the Manes funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Hensley and Rev. Lee Roy Hurst officiating. Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8 pm prior to the funeral service. Interment will be 11am Thursday, May 21, 2008 at Union Cemetery with L/Cpl Charles C. Roberts DAV Chapter102 conducting military rites
