KUPFER, VALERIE ELAINE NICHOLS OWEN - age 47 of Knoxville, passed away Sunday afternoon, August 13, 2006 at her home. Elaine was a member of Center View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: her mother, Zelma Myers Nichols. Survivors: companion, Ernest "Spanky" Reno; his children, Nicole, Bill, Bobbie and Anthony Reno; sons, Jeremy and Shawn Owen; grandson, Joshua Owen; father, R. B. Nichols and wife Linda of Lenoir City; sister, Connie Williams of Harriman; foster parents, Ed and June Cagley of Knoxville; foster sister, Janis Faye Justice and husband Bob of Knoxville; nephews, Steven and Justin Davis; nieces, Tina Branam and Hope Justice; several other family members. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Click Funeral Home Farragut Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7 p.m. with Chaplain Ron Russell officiating. Family and friends will gather at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Marietta Cemetery for graveside services.
