(September 28, 1954 - May 18, 2012) Bobby Scott Grooms, age 57, of Johnson City, passed away Friday, May 18, 2012 at Johnson City Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Scott and Blanche Grooms and brother Donald Grooms. Survivors include his brother Harold Grooms (Betty Davis), sisters Delores Grooms Parham (Jerry), Judy Baxter (Bobby) along with several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home with Bro. John Bugg officiating. Interment will follow in Fowler Cemetery in Cosby. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Brown Funeral Home is honored to serve the Grooms family.
