McCAMMON, JAMES A. "JABO" - age 61, of Maryville, died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2001, at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Mr. McCammon was a self-employed farmer and a Board of Directors member of the Blount-Greenback Farmers Cooperative. He was preceded in death by his father, Joe McCammon. Survivors include his wife, Linda Yates McCammon; daughters and sons-in-law, Sherri and Bradley Payne of Seymour, Lisa and Wesley Gibson of Maryville; grandson, Zachary Payne; mother, Eunice McCammon of Maryville; brother and sister-in-law, Burl and Charlotte McCammon of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Jerry Mosley of Chattanooga; niece, Denise Long and husband, Tony; nephew, Lincoln Mosley; great niece, Kristen Long, and a special farming "buddy", Larry Tittsworth. Funeral service 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 12, 2001, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Steve Frye officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Interment 11 a.m. Thursday, September 13, 2001, at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
