(French) – 76, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 30, 2009. A very special lady, mother and humanitarian, Emma was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church and a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She retired from Armed Services Examining Station in Knoxville. She was preceded in death by parents, Mack and Naomi French, and brother, Robert Stanley. Survivors Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Gena Holbert; brothers and sisters: Wayne, Johnny, Norma, and Joe; nieces and nephews; and special friend, Kay. Service The family will receive friends Sunday, August 2, 2009 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 7 PM with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. A graveside service and interment will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, August 3, 2009 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Dandridge. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
