He was a member of East Walland Baptist Church, ALCOA's 25 Year Club and a Veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by his parents, Alex and Alley Huskey; brother, Luke Huskey; sisters, Katherine Moore and Maude Cagle. Survivors: wife, Ethel Huskey; sons and daughters-in-law, James R. and Cathy Jo Huskey of Walland, Jerry and Cathy L. Huskey of Walland; step-sons, Bobby Lynn Gibson and wife, Diane of Greenback, and David Gibson of Maryville; step-daughter, Lucy Parker and husband, Wayne of Maryville; four grandchildren, Troy Huskey, Nathan Huskey, Steven Huskey and Amy Russell and husband, John; five step-grandchildren, Clint Gibson, Autumn Manning, David Gibson, Jr., Sarah Parker, Lee Parker; two great-grandchildren; three step, great-grandchildren; brothers, Doyle Huskey of Maryville, and Sam Huskey of Walland; two aunts; and one uncle; special friend, Howard Waters; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service 7 p.m., Friday, October 30, 1998, Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary with Rev. Milburn White, Rev. Gerald Smelcer and Rev. Mike Seagle officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 31, 1998, at West Miller's Cove Baptist Church Cemetery for interment.
