Jack Smith announces 7th district road commissioner candidacy
Jack Smith is announcing his candidacy for the 7th District Road commissioner. The seat is currently held by Clifford Large, who is no longer running for road commissioner.
Smith is a lifetime resident of Cocke County. Jack has been married to Ann for 40 years. They have two daughters, Lisa Coggins, who is married to Richard Coggins, and Jaclyn Smith-Pack, who is married to Blake Pack. They also have two grandchildren, Kinley Coggins and Addington Pack.
Jack and Ann attend West End Baptist Church.
He owns and operates Jack's Family Fitness Center, which has been in business for over 23 years. Prior to that, he worked at Krohler Manufacturing for over 17 years.
Smith had an interest in this several years ago.
Smith enjoys helping people and believes in hard work and you can expect hard work from him. Smith said that he has already helped in neighborhoods concerning roads. He believes in good roads and, if elected, he will work hard for all the 7th District and with the other road commissioners. Smith says that he is willing and ready to meet the needs of the community.
