Grace Ramsey Long, of Greenville, SC, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2009 after a lengthy illness. Grace grew up in Hartford before moving to Greenville, SC to seek employment. Shortly after moving she wed her husband, Johnny Long. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Grace is survived by her special niece and caregiver, Helen Hendrix and husband E. B. of Greenville, SC; two special great nephews and caregivers, Mike Hendrix and Stan Hendrix of Greenville, SC. Grace is also survived by her nephew, Harry Pullum and wife Jane of Knoxville, TN, nieces, Carolyn Wilder and husband Jerry of Newport, TN, Charley Ann Pullum of Newport, TN, Charlotte Tweed and husband George of Newport.
Grace brought such joy to her great nieces and nephews; Ronnie Wilder Tenut, Hendersonville, TN, Jeff Wilder and Steve Tweed, Newport, TN, Phyllis Tweed Harrison, Statesboro, GA, Charles Pullum, Knoxville, TN and Connie Pullum Coker, Charlotte, NC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 10, 2009 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services following at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Fred Gregg officiating. Burial will follow in the Huskey Cemetery in Sevier County.
