NUTTER, DONALD EUGENE, SR. - age 69, passed away Wednesday July 12, 2006. Mr. Nutter was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of Holy Ghost Catholic Church. He was retired from D.F. Shoffner Mechanical Contractors. Preceded in death by: his parents, Joseph Earl and Juanita Nutter; sister, Judith Nutter Irwin and beloved son, James Gregory Nutter. Surviving family: loving wife of 47 years, Annunciata Clancy Nutter; children, Donald Eugene Nutter, Jr., Candace Ann Nutter, Julianna Marie Nutter Raines and husband James Raines, Mark Anthony Nutter and wife Andrea Stephens Nutter, Joseph Brett Nutter and wife Shelbia; James Nutter; grandchildren, Dakota James and Hannah Elizabeth Raines, Rachael Lynn and Olivia Anne Nutter; brother, Joseph E. Nutter, Jr. and wife Virginia and Johnny Irwin; sisters, Dorothy and husband Harold Pruitt and Janice and the late Thomas Lunsford; special friend, Cindy Switalski; and a host of wonderful friends and family. Funeral Mass 10:00 am Saturday at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, Father Xavier Mankel officiating with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers: John Irwin, Perry Pruitt, Frank Pickering, Dan Winter, James Raines and sons. Military Honors will be provided by East Tennessee Veterans Honor Guard.
