ROGERS, LOURETTA IRWIN - age 90, passed away on Saturday July 9, 2006 at Saint Mary's Holston. She was a member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by: husband, I. Fred Rogers; infant son, James Albert Rogers; parents, Cal and Molly Irwin; brothers, John, Nick and Bill Irwin; sisters, Mae McNutt, Ida Irwin, Janie Reed and Margaret Trousdale. She is survived by: son, Ralph (Bud) Rogers Sr. and wife Sharon; grandson, Rick Rogers; step-grandsons, Burney Smith and wife Brandi and Eddie Henderlight; step granddaughters, Pamela Smith and Allison Thompson; great-grandchildren, Stephen and wife Whitney Rogers, Kristen and husband Chase Trotter, Brandon Rogers, and Brock Rogers; great great grandchildren, Danielle Rogers, Reagan Rogers, Griffen Smith, Spencer Smith, and Dominic Thompson; sister-in-law, Juanita Huffaker; brother-in-law, Albert and wife Ruby Rogers; special nieces and nephews, Jean Davis, Bobbie Henderlight, Billy and wife Edna McNutt, Gary and wife Sherri Huffaker; and many friends who have been very special to her, and the family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of St. Mary's Holston for their care and concern. The funeral service will be on Tuesday July 11, 2006 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with a graveside service to be held on Wednesday July 12 at 10: 00 a.m. at Meridian Cemetery.
