Teffeteller, Elmer “Shorty” age 96 of Maryville passed away Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He attended Third Street Baptist Church. He retired from Alcoa Aluminum and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Preceded in death by: Wife, Thelma Teffeteller; Sons-in-law, Tom Potter and Rufus Law; Daughters, Jackie Holder and Elizabeth Ann Teffeteller; Great-Grandson, Richard Law. Survivors include: Son and Daughter-in-law, J.D. & Ilona Teffeteller of Greenback; Daughter and Son-in-law, Imogene & Kenneth Tuck of Friendsville; Daughter, Maxine Law of Maryville; Son-in-law, H.F. Holder; Twelve Grandchildren; Thirteen Great-Grandchildren; One Great-Great-Grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, July 7, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Dr. Mark Grubb officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Laws Chapel Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 PM, Friday, July 7, 2006, Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 865-983-1000.
