She was preceded in death by: her parents, Roy and Emily Dennison; infant daughter, Mary Francis Dennison; sisters, Edith Ivey, Mary Ivey, Lily Dennison; brother, John Dennison; son-in-law Roger H. Shorter. She is survived by: her husband, Allen McCoig; daughter, Peggy Shrader and son-in-law Danny Shrader; granddaughter, Stacy Kennedy and husband Billy Kennedy; grandson, Roger Lynn Shorter and wife Keva; great-grandchildren, Autumn Shorter and Dakota Shorter; sister, Pauline Dennison of California; brothers, George Dennison of Knoxville and Charles Dennison of Henderson, North Carolina; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at Highland South Memorial Chapel with the funeral service to follow at 8 p.m. with Pastor Eddie Dennison officiating. Entombment will be Wednesday 11 a.m. June 28, 2006 in the Highland South Memorial Chapel Mausoleum. Highland South Memorial Park, Funerals and Cremations, 9010 E.
