Deborah Ann Bohanan Powers, age 50 of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014.
She was a member of Jones Chapel Baptist Church where she served as pianist and choir director. She was a long time performer at the Comedy Barn, and had also played with Bonnie Lou and Buster. She loved spending her winters in Florida.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Bohanan.
Survivors include her husband, Gary Lee Powers; mother, Mae Bohanan; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Marylin Bohanan; step father-in-law, Charlie Cline; nephews, Adam Bohanan and wife Tiffany, Lucas Bohanan; great-niece and nephew, Peyton and Cole Bohanan. Debbie was loved by many aunts, uncles, and cousins and anyone who ever met her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Jones Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund, C/O Troy Manning, 797 Flat Creek Rd, Sevierville, TN 37876

The family will receive friends 3-6 PM Sunday with a funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM at The Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge with Rev. Dan King officiating.
