(June 14, 1933 - June 29, 2010) Ruie “Belle” Brock, age 77, of Maryville, passed away Tuesday morning, June 29, 2010 after years of illness, the Lord has taken her to a home of no pain, sorrow or grief. Preceded in death by her parents, Wade Crisp and Effie Eisenhower Burchfield of Robbinsville, NC; sister, Estea Cooper; husbands, Alvin Edwin Brendle and Buddy Brock; son, Rex Brendle; and granddaughter, Tracy McClurg. Survived by her daughter, Jenny McFall of Maryville; son and daughter-in-law, Alvin and Peggy Brendle of Friendsville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Luther and Sheila Crisp of SC, Claud Crisp and fiancée, GiGi Sampson of Maryville; sisters, Nora Smitherman of Alabama, Ollie Radford of Cleveland, TN, Mrs. Bob (Irene) Overholt of Maryville. She was blessed with 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and a great-grandson due in October; 17 nieces and nephews; special friends, Naomi Amburn, Lawrence and Bonnie Davis of Maryville. A special thanks to Irene and Bob Overholt, James Keller, and the wonderful staff at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 2, 2010 at Lower Chilhowee Missionary Baptist Church on 129, with Rev. Bill Wilson officiating, a special thanks to him and the members of the church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville.
