Alice F. Brooks, went to be with the Lord on June 2, 2006. Mrs. Brooks has lived in the Del Rio area all her life and has worked for Sunterra Resorts for 20+ years. She was 54 years old and was greatly loved by many friends and family and will be sorely missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Buck Brooks of Del Rio; parents, Roy and Tilda Daniels of Del Rio and father-in-law, Decatur Brooks of Del Rio; brother, John Daniels of Parrottsville;sister,Barbara Jean Lewis and children, John Roy and April Dawn Brooks.
She is survived and greatly loved by, sons and daughters-in-law, David (Little Buck) and Loretta Brooks, Beet and Pollie Brooks; daughters and sons-in-law, Kitten and Glen Ramsey, Net and Glen (Punk) Shelton all of Del Rio; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hubert Daniel of Newport, Paul and Barbara Daniels of Del Rio, Donnie Daniels of Newport, Tony and Amelia Daniels of Del Rio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Nellie Wilds of Benton, TN, Mary Cline of Cleveland, Ohio, Debbie and Duke Green of Newport, Missy Daniels of Newport; grandchildren, Justin and Megan Shelton, Caitlin Gregg, Angel and Destiny Brooks, Chelsy Gregg, Thomas Smallwood, Larissa and Gracie Brooks, Christopher Brooks; also several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and special family at Sunterra Resorts.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, June 5, 2006 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Dennis Strange officiating, with burial in Brooks Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Sunday, June 4, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home funeral.
