Mr. Gathercoal was also a member of the Lion's Club. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia H. Gathercoal on February 9, 1993. Survivors include 2 sons, Richard Gathercoal of Boynton Beach, F and Thomas Gathercoal of Boca Raton, FL; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 1993 at MIZELL- FAVILLE-ZERN TOWN & COUNTRY FUNERA HOME, 3691 Seacrest Blvd., Lantana, F with Reverend C. Edwin Musselman officiating. In lieu of floral contributions the family has suggested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
