(October 22, 1945 - November 24, 2008) Judy Ann Hartsell, age 63, of Newport, passed away Monday, November 24, 2008 after a brief battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Maxie Hartsell. She is survived by her daughter, Amy Maples and son in law Kevin of Sevierville, Tn., sister Brenda (Bill) Lane of Newport, grandchildren Hanna and Kady Maples of Sevierville, niece Sonja Turner (Dale) of Newport, nephew Phillip Lane (Robyn) of Newport, great nieces Lindsey and Maisie Hazelwood of Newport, great nephew Brody lane, special; friend Susan lane of Newport, several cousins and friends. Special thanks to First Baptist Church of Sevierville, Pastor Randy Davis and Scott Andrews. Funeral services will be held 8 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 25, 2008 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Davis officiating. Burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 26, 2008 in Union Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 Tuesday prior to the funeral services.
