Donald Reed Morrow, age 58, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at the James H. Quillen V. A. Hospital in Mountain Home, Tn. He was of the Baptist Faith. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Albert and Ruth (Arrington) Morrow and both in-laws, Lacy and Nancy (Frazier) Gates. Survivors include his best friend and mother of his much loved children, Doris (Gates) Morrow. Children, Donald Mark of Cosby, Tn; Timothy Jr. of Murfreesboro, Tn. and Christopher of the U.S. Navy in Misawa, Japan, grand-daughter, Zoey Elizabeth Morrow of Murfreesboro, Tn., brothers, Jimmy (Pam) of Del Rio, Benny (Marie) of Edwina, Timothy (Victoria) of Morristown, sisters Jean (Roger) Sheets of South Carolina, Wanda (Glen) Sparks , Karen (Steve) Mantooth, and a host of nieces and nephews. Donald served in Germany for the U. S. Army. He was very creative and well known for his paintings, woodcraft, and the excellent service he did for the community and painting cars. He had a heart to help family and friends. He was loved by many and will surely be missed. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Sunday May, 31, 2009 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home, with Rev. Timothy Morrow officiating. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2009 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 31, 2009 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
