(January 4, 1939 - June 23, 2012) Destie Rollins, age 73, of Newport, went to her Heavenly home, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Newport Medical Center. She attended New Bethel Freewill Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amon and Polly Price; brothers, Mike and Ken Price; sister, Edith Holt. She is survived by her loving husband, Cauley Rollins; sons, Mikey Rollins and Lori, Chris Rollins and Terri, Scottie Rollins and Jessica; daughters, Diane Rollins, Donna Gorrell and Eugene, Jenelle Fox and Tim, Tammy Rollins and Dewey Talton, Norma Rollins Kelley, Deana Johnson, Kim France and Mikey; sister, Imajean Rollins; brothers, Cord Price and Charlotte, Doug Price and Eleanor; twenty grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 pm Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother Willie Winters and Brother Matthew Fox officiating. Burial will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, June 27, 2012 in Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Gregg, Dewey Talton, Everett Holmes, David Holmes, Jason Rollins, Matthew Fox, Stephen Fox and Lane Johnson.
