HAYES , LIZZIE H. - age 92, went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 13,2003. She passed away at Ft. Sanders Regional Hospital. She was a member of Pollard Hill Baptist Church. Lizzie was a loving mother and grandmother and was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years. George Franklin Hayes . She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Louise and Henry Kirby, Pat and Don Cameron and Jan and Bill Humpries sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Delores Hayes and son Harold "Shot" Hayes 10 grandchildren 20 grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Leona Glenn and two brothers, Rev. Carl Hancock and Joe Henry Hancock. Special thanks is extended to loving caregiver Linda. Family will receive friends Wednesday, January 15, 2003 from 6 to 8 P.M. with funeral service to follow at 8 P.M. with Rev. Tim Farrow officiating.
