KING, MALCENA C. - age 95 of Laughlin Health Care Center in Greeneville, TN, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2007 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital. She was a retired beautician and a member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church in Knoxville. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Florence Crum and step father, Joseph W. Hensley. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Charles W. King; sister, Marie Woolsey; brothers, Fred Crum, Jack Crum, Don Hensley and Henry Hensley. Survivors: many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, several great great nieces and nephews; special friends, Jack and Jenny Smiddy, Mary Larasey, all of Knoxville. Funeral services 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Kiser Funeral Chapel, Rev. Doug Jennings. Interment Harris Memorial Cemetery. Active pallbearers: Freddie Crum, Jan Reynolds, Stanley Kite, Keith Cornwell, Grover Jones, Lynn Malone, Glen Tweed. Honorary pallbearers: Dr. Brad Strange, employees of Wellington Place and employees of Laughlin Health Care Center. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Kiser Funeral Home.
