Harris, age 88, of Sevierville, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015. She was born April 4, 1926 in Johnson City. Helen had an affinity for all animals. She adored her horses, Chocolate, Comanche and Toby, and her dog, Tucker. Helen had been riding horses since she was 10 years old until two years ago. She enjoyed trail riding in Cade's Cove and even had some favorite trails in North Carolina. Helen could often be found working on her puzzles and she was always ready to go out to eat with friends. Her love and kindness will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Cecil Sr. and Frances Harris; her brother, Joe Cecil Harris Jr., and her cousin, William G. Harris. Helen is survived by her cousins, Kenneth Harris of Miami, Roma Faye Honey of Chattanooga, and Marion Harris; her very special friends, Janice Dumas, Ken Johnson and Cecil Ward.
