Preceded in death by husband, Sam Houston "Huse" McGill; son, George McGill and sons-in-law, Ernest "Fuzzy" Chamberlain and Homer Henderson. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Luther Montgomery of Rockford, Gertie and Donald Price of Maryville, Bertha Chamberlain of Knoxville, Nellie and Ray Haire of Florida; sons and daughters-in-law, Rev. Fred and Ruby McGill of Knoxville, Charles McGill of Rockford, Clarence and Phyllis McGill of Maryville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Sadie Davis of Maryville; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Connie Wright of Maryville. Funeral service 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 16, 1999 at Miller Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Eli Henry officiating.
