Palmer, Nellie Gertrude Davis, age 88, of South Knoxville passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2000. Beloved mama, mamaw and best friend. Preceded in death by six brothers; two sisters; parents, Samuel Seiber and Matilda Belle Davis and husband Carl Nelmon Palmer.

We give our heart felt thanks and much love to the entire NHC Ft. Sanders care givers for their caring support through the past difficult months. We also extend our gratitude to Dr. Jeffrey Swilley and Dr. Mark Turner. Through their efforts and special caring, we were given extra quality time with our precious mother. Mama loved all of you! Mama, there will always be a void and an ache in our hearts without you. You suffered much and fought a valiant fight. Rest well.
Service
Family and friends will meet Friday, September 22, 2000 at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service with Chaplain Phil Groos officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to Baptist Hospice whose help and support made our loss more bearable and helped ease our mother's suffering.
