Mrs. Claxton served the Lord as an elder in Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church and worked for many years in food services at Seymour Primary School, as well as Hillcrest South and Hillcrest North Nursing Home facilities. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Claxton, son Terry M. Claxton, parents William T. and Bessie Warren Lowe, brother William T. Lowe, Jr. Survivors: Daughter and son-in-law: Paulette Russell and husband Wayne Grandchildren: Christy Keeler and husband Ron, Brad Russell and wife Amanda, Shane Claxton, Blake Russell, Samantha Claxton. Great-grandchildren: Avery Claxton, Bradey Russell, and Mary Elizabeth Keeler Several nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to thank the nursing staff, CNA’s and workers on the first floor of Hillcrest North Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rocky Springs Presbyterian Church, c/o Pam Tarwater, 3144 Boyd’s Creek Hwy. Sevierville, TN 37876 Family and friends will meet 11 AM Monday at Atchley Funeral Home Seymour and process to Highland South Cemetery for graveside service and interment with Rev.
