Angus “A.C.” Cowan Claxton, age 86 of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2007. Mr. Claxton served as a deacon at Solid Rock Baptist Church in Knoxville, and was a Life Member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers, and a Life Member of the Disabled American Veterans. He served his country during World War II in the Army Air Corps.
Preceded in death by his wife, Leva Keck Claxton; parents Clyde and Mary Claxton; and brothers Swan Claxton and Paul Hayden Claxton.

Sons and Daughters-in-law: Tommy D. & Andrea Claxton of Seymour; Stanley & Mary Claxton of Friendsville
Daughter and Son-in-law: Sheila and Cleo Jennings of Powell
