Jack Phillip Ogle, age 80, of Gatlinburg, passed away at home Tuesday, October 18, 2011. He was a Navy Veteran and was stationed in Guam during the Korean War. Jack was a long time member of the Gatlinburg Volunteer Fire Department. He owned and enjoyed showing horses for many years and was a former president of the Tennessee Racking Horse Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Minnie Ogle, and son, Gregg Phillip Ogle.

Daughter: Sharon Ogle Woods
Grandchild: Denis Ryan Ogle
The family will receive friends 10 AM-12 PM Thursday with a funeral service to follow at 12 PM in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Burcham officiating. Ogle anniversary
Jack and Mildred Ogle of Gatlinburg are celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary at Ogle's Brick Oven in Gatlinburg with family and friends.
Mildred Trentham and Jack Ogle were married Dec. 9, 1951, in Gatlinburg. The Rev. Otis Carver officiated at the ceremony.
Their children are Brett and Paula Ogle of Gatlinburg and daughter Sharon Woods of Knoxville. They have one grandson, Denis Ogle of Knoxville.
