Curtis Lee Trentham, 71, of Gregg Mill Road, Greeneville, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday, July 26, at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
He was a part-time security guard at Five Rivers Electronics Innovations.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gradon William and Ella Holt Trentham; and three brothers, Maurice, J.H. and Robert “Bob” Trentham.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Lynn Trentham; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky Lee Trentham Sr. and wife, Billie, and Randall Lynn and Vicki Trentham; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra Gay and Anthony Carter, all of Greeneville, and Kimberly Ann and Chris Bennett of Jonesborough; nine grandchildren, Ricky Lee Trentham Jr., Michael Jay Trentham, Joshua Curtis Trentham, Christopher Matthew Trentham, Ashton Nicole Trentham, Thomas Graden Carter, Nathaniel Ethan Carter, Dakota Seth Bennett and Brittany Shyann Bennett; one great-grandchild, Dakota William Ragon; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gradon and C.L. Trentham of Johnson City, and Fred and Ruth Trentham and Maxine Trentham of Newport; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, at Timber Ridge Presbyterian Church with interment in the Timber Ridge Cemetery. Rev. John Mitchell will ofŢciate.
Active pallbearers will be: George Tilson, Anthony Carter, Chris Bennett, Ricky Trentham Jr., Michael Trentham, and Donald Trentham. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. Joe Austin and Douglas Freshour.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon and from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday evening at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home.
