He is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jean Roberts daughter, Martha Darlene Roberts sisters, Ray Greene, Ruth Snyder brothers, Don Roberts, Roy Roberts, and Eugene B. Roberts. Survivors include his sons, Wayne Roberts of Knoxville and Michael Roberts of Knoxville grandchild, Matthew Dewayne Roberts of Knoxville brothers and sister-in-laws, Frank and Dorothy Roberts of Knoxville, Delmar "Dube" Roberts of Knoxville, James "J.D." and Deloris Roberts of Knoxville sisters and brother-in-law, Mabel Bowman, Leta Elder of Knoxville, Margaret Swaggerty of OK, Doris Wilcox of Knoxville, Naomi and Shields Mullins of Knoxville. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2004 in the McCarty Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Al Smith and Reverend Archie Elliott officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2004 in Henry's Crossroads Cemetery.
